Instituted: November 2001, replacing the RUC Service Medal.

Awarded: For 18 months' service in the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC. As the RUC GC was renamed to The Police Service for Northern Ireland on 4 November 2001, it is not known how many will be awarded!
