United Kingdom: Cadet Forces Medal

Ribbon: Green with yellow edges and narrow dark blue, red and light blue stripes.

Instituted: 1 February 1950.

Awarded: For 12 years' service as an Adult Instructor or Officer in the Army Cadet Force, Sea Cadet Corps, Air Training Corps or Combined Cadet Force, also the New Zealand Cadet Forces. Adult leaders of the Australian Sea Cadet Corps/Naval Reserve Cadets, Australian Army Cadet Corps and Air Training Corps were eligible between 1950 and 1974, when it was replaced by the Australian Cadet Forces Service Medal.
