Ribbon: Blue with gold edges. A blue cross with a central red, gold or silver maple leaf is worn to indicate grade when ribbons alone are worn.

Awarded: For conspicuous merit and exceptional service by members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Grades: 3 (Commander, Officer and Member).
