Ordre du Mérite Militaire
Ribbon: Blue with gold edges. A blue cross with a central red, gold or silver maple leaf is worn to indicate grade when ribbons alone are worn.
Instituted: 1 July 1972.
Awarded: For conspicuous merit and exceptional service by members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Grades: 3 (Commander, Officer and Member).
Post-nominal letters: Commander CMM, Officer OMM, and Member MMM.
