Ribbon: Red with white edge stripes.
Instituted: 1994, based on the original Order of the White Lion (1922).
Awarded: For distinguished services to the State.
Grades: 5 (1st Class, 2nd Class, 3rd Class, 4th Class, 5th Class) in Civil and Military Divisions. The 1st Class with Collar Chain is only awarded to heads of state.
